Pruett ORDINANCE NO. 9505 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 5300 BLOCK OF HIGHWAY 153, BEING OFF THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF HIGHWAY 153 AT HIXSON PIKE FROM C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. _______________________ SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located in the 5300 block of Highway 153, being off the southwest line of Highway 153 at Hixson Pike. An unplatted tract beginning on the southwest line of the ramp leading from Hixson Pike to State Highway 153 10 feet northwest of the intersection of the southwest line of said ramp with the southwest line of Highway 153, said point being the most northern corner of lot 1, Kentucky Fried Chicken on Highway 153 Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 34, page 156, R.O.H.C., thence southwest 270 feet with the northwest line of said lot 1, and said line extended to a point 95 feet southwest of the northwest corner of said lot 1, thence northwest some 440 feet to the southeast line of the ramp leading from Hixson Pike to State Highway 153, thence with said ramp northeast 163.5 feet, northeast 112.15 feet, southeast 301 feet, and southeast 167.3 feet to the point of beginning. Said tract being part of the properties described in deed book 1910, page 284, R.O.H.C., deed book 1657, page 183, R.O.H.C., and deed book 1617, page 549, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 110H-D-52 (part). from C-2 Convenience Commercial District to C-1 Highway Commercial District. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the public welfare requiring it.
